Running the deck above the tires instead of between them means wide equipment like mini excavators isn't constrained by wheel wells the way a standard flatbed deck would be. Dual flip-up ramps at the rear fold down independently, useful when loading two narrower machines side by side rather than one wide one. Tandem 7,000# axles support the extra deck width without pushing past the 14K GVWR ceiling.
